Anne appears. Anne dies. She says he is insignificant.
Between Anne and Thomas something takes place that does not become relation. It draws near and withdraws. What seems like intimacy opens instead onto distance.
We follow this movement. Not love as union, but as exposure to what cannot be shared, what cannot be held, what leaves the other outside.
What kind of encounter is this, where the other arrives only to recede?
As before, we read passages together and stay close to the text.
