Galerie Linger is itself a rather minor establishment. Small in size, modest in means, but no less enthusiastic about Deleuze and Guattari. We have always suspected that being minor has less to do with dimensions than with what one manages to do from the margins.
It is therefore a particular pleasure to welcome minor literature[s] to Linger for minor impromptu 2, an afternoon of readings as part of minor incident Berlin 2026.
Joining us in broad daylight are David Hering, Morten Høi Jensen, Lucy A. Kulwieć, Jared Marcel Pollen, and Isabella Streffen. Five writers and artists moving between fiction, criticism, cultural history, and experimental forms. For once, the gallery's literary life will unfold in the afternoon light, rather than under its customary evening lamps.
And since minor spaces have a peculiar talent for accommodating more than their dimensions suggest, the afternoon will also see another small experiment taking shape among our books: Beatrice Martini's STANDS, inaugurating a new curatorial format developed together with the artist and curator. A bookshelf becomes an exhibition space, and a drawer in Linger's backroom acquires a life of its own.
