Twenty poems by John Dorsey are accompanied by eighteen illustrations by Juliane Hundertmark. The images establish a second current running through the book, opening unexpected routes through memory, drama, and everyday life.

Like many Sacred Parasite publications, 100 Mornings occupies a territory between poetry collection, artist's book, and visual object. Text and image proceed together, each altering the experience of the other.

These are books with pictures for adults. Yet they quietly reactivate a mode of perception more often associated with childhood: a willingness to encounter images before they settle into explanation.
