7 BISSE #02

Erika Wakayama 若山えりか

Description (EN)
A small shift of attention. A piste drawn on soap, an ocean made of eraser dust, a sunset folded into an envelope. Erika Wakayama works with what is already at hand – fragments of drawing, traces of hygiene, residues of display – allowing them to tilt, quietly, into image. Nothing is imposed; meaning appears through proximity, through a slight misalignment of use and perception. The booklet gathers seven such observations, each hovering between joke and form, between care and disappearance. Light, precise, and almost nothing – yet exact.

Part of the 7 Bisse series by Edition Brotscheiben, where the smallest gestures become formats for thinking and seeing.

Hinweis (DE)
Ein leises Heft über Aufmerksamkeit: Alltägliche Materialien kippen ins Bild, fast beiläufig, mit feinem Witz.
