A handmade artist’s book that feels summoned to Earth. Thread-bound, unstable, almost talismanic in its presence. The work meanders to and fro, between culture jamming, Neukölln mythos, rigour of détournement, outsider's fancy and precision, and total formal control.

What Bohan touches here is something increasingly rare: a deepened universal. Intensely singular, his work is nonetheless immediate, legible at the level of sensation. Intoxicating, yet without nausea. Bones, feet, bubble speech, cartoon delirium, fetish humour, panic, tenderness – everything enters, and God knows where does it lead.

And what makes the work remarkable is that it achieves two things usually kept apart. Absolute skill and absolute freedom. The pages oscillate between a visionary arrangement and a wild ecstatic derangement. Madness and discipline cease to oppose one another. Craft itself becomes prophetic.

Bohan’s line has enough conviction to prise open the world again – to pull experience out of the liquid blur of the postmodern flimsy. It's leads the Logos with a different logic to a new realm. And so, Bohan appears almost heroically. A rare trailblazer. He goes through it, and the path looms open – for us.
