The tension of the compositions: a red plane pressed against a narrow vertical, a muted field held in suspension by a thin line. In the collages, material enters more explicitly – corrugated textures, layered surfaces – yet always disciplined by a strict compositional logic.

The shift from collage to painting is not treated as a break, but as a modulation of the same underlying concern: how a surface can be structured without closure.
