NICHTS IST SO SELTSAM, ALS DASS ES NICHT WAHR SEIN KÖNNTE

The book brings together landscapes, interiors and figures that seem displaced in time. A house appears, isolated within dense vegetation. Children, fragments, and gestures recur without explanation. Drawings, logbook entries, photomontages, and documents assemble a narrative that never stabilises. At its centre, perhaps, stands the “inventor” – a figure that we never see.

Contributions include artist portraits by Matthias Ziegler and an interview by Yvonne Fehn. The book design is by Markus Rasp. Issued as a signed and numbered edition, the publication positions itself between documentation and authored object.
