But Badur works exactly at that threshold where painting withdraws from image. Into calibrations. Intervals. Distances made visible.
The vertical bands – yellow, blue – are not expressive gestures. They behave like measures. Each color defines the other by adjacency, by spacing. What matters is not the stripe itself, but the clearing it produces. Light.
