A strip, almost nothing. Paper extending, black and white, a faint watercolour passing through it. THE Sunset does not settle into image; it lingers as length, as a slow unfolding that cannot be taken in at once.

The horizon appears only lightly, as a tone, a wash, something already receding while it is still there.
