One can trace a whole series of attempts at an opening: the figure with a round nothing in its belly; the circle of figures locked by their arms; another circle formed, opened and closed at once, by the knife gatherers.
The blade itself is an opening escaping circularity – closer to desire, faithful, than to drive, promiscuous.
